This is literally the only picture that Linh took of New York. We have been here so many times, scenic pictures are no longer neccessary.
leather jacket: joie; sweater: hm; dress: thayer; flats: lanvin; purse: ChloeLadies, if you must invest in one pair of flats, I highly recommend the Lanvin. They are amazingly comfortable. I bought these in Spring of 2006 and they are in great shape considering the amount of times I wear them! I wore them all over Paris and NY and no foot massage needed afterwards :). Great investment!
As for the Chloe handbag..I die! I bought the purse in Paris and they are A LOT cheaper than the selling price in the states...it is redunkulous. Let's just say I got these for 30% cheaper than what it is sold here in the states...do the math. On top of that, only Europe's Chloe stores carry this color (brown) and is not sold in the US. Hard not to pass up!

boots: loeffler randallI was exhausted from an entire day of walking and didn't feel like changing into my intended night time outfit so I just changed shoes. I wore these thigh high suede shoes that I got last year to spice up the outfit for a night out of town :P
Our trip to NY was a bit stressful. On our way to the airport, we had a flat tire. When we arrived at the airport, the entire place was shut down for 30 minutes due to security breach. On top of that, we had a 2 hour flight delay and didn't arrive to NY til midnight. We arrived to our hotel around 1 AM and we were told that the hotel was overbooked for the night but will have a room available for us the following day. They offered to give us a refund for a night's stay and will book us a hotel room in their other hotel which was 3 blocks away. I literally turned bitch mode when I was told this. I demanded a huge suite at both hotels for this inconvenience! Hello, it was 1 AM and I was exhausted. I did get what I asked for so I felt a tad better.
The following day was much better. Linh booked me a massage at Bliss Spa at the W so I could relax and release some of that muscle tension while he was attending his conference. Anyway, shopping was a bust....ended up empty handed. The day ended with good company while dining at Momofuku Ssam bar. If anyone decides to visit NY, you HAVE to try their pork buns..it's the shit...srsly. Just look at it (pic below)
